David B. Green is an Associate Professor of Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies and Faculty Affiliate in the Ed.D. Education Leadership Program within the Department of Applied and Advanced Studies in Education at California State University, Los Angeles. He is a first-generation college student and flautist.

 

He hopes that students who read Inner City Sissy understands the power of their lived experiences, the power of their voice, the power of literacy, the power of forgiveness, and the power of love, and how these can lead to living with joy and love anywhere and everywhere their life takes them.
