Lived Places Publishing is looking for a digital marketing and sales outreach intern. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a mission-based organization and learn marketing and sales skills at the same time. We are a self-funded startup and we must rely on hyper-efficient, tech-powered tactics mixed will roll-your-sleeves-up grit and determination.
At LPP we publish books that explore the intersection of identity and place and we do so in collections across a range of topics, including disability studies, queer and LGBT+ studies, forced migration studies, gender studies, black studies, Latinx studies and more. We are especially seeking applicants who 1) identify with these communities and/or 2) are strong and staunch allies of those we seek to serve.
This is a paid internship of 10 hours per week for $25.00 per hour. The work is 100% remote and the intern will largely set their working hours.
Immediate Activities and Skills to be Gained in this Role:
- Researching targeted leads
- Crafting and deploying outreach
- Tracking and measuring results
- Iterating and fine-tuning messaging
- Designing multi-touch CRM workflow
- Managing CRM data and lead-scoring
- Writing & maintaining supporting content
- Using social & other means of outreach
